June 5th we had the pleasure of shooting the 2nd Annual Halfway to Heaven Scholarship Bike-ride in memory of Tanner’s father Bernie. Some of his biggest passions were biking and music and the proceeds raised from the event help to fund music scholarships for the area students.
Last year they raised about $4,000 and this year they surpassed the total raising about $4,500 despite the weather that rolled in later in the day! There were about 120 people who took part in the ride for the different events: the three mile, 10 miles and 30 mile rides. They hope to continue and grow the ride in the future years to come so if your interested we will keep you posted to come and ride!

Hi Bikers! Weather wasn’t quite as great as last years ride which we got some sweet pictures so we had to make due with the cloudy day.
Hi Ladies! Doing their pageant wave. Skill while riding a bike!

It got slightly rainy towards the way back from Clear Lake for the 30 milers. Ok slightly may be an understatement! Here are a few images Tanner captured leaning out the window.
