I took these shot years ago…were talking summer of 2006 old school with a Rebel XTi and a lens kit! I still to this day just absolutely just love them! They are un-edited straight out of the camera JPEGS. I was cleaning up my Flickr’ account last night and found these images from the days that I was just learning how to use my camera and really getting into digital photography and the digital world with my first SLR camera that was wasn’t film.

Just a small reminder that summer is just around the corner and that I need to find some awesome flowers now that we have a 100mm macro lens.

This weekend the Tanman and I are heading off to Cedar Raipds for a rockin’ two-on two workshop with The Gaupers! We are so excited! (Ok more than excited!!!) They are a couple who shoot primarily weddings and portraits out of Michigan and two of them have probably been some of our favorite photog idols in the industry for quite awhile now.

They produce sharp creative images that are edited to perfection (Go Holly)! We  love their style and are always awesome with great geeky photo knowledge (Go Ryan!)! The two of them have been wonderful resources for questions as well as advice & friends (via Facebook) and we can’t wait to meet and learn from them in person.
