MADE IN DSM – ZTS PHOTO Feature | Des Moines, Iowa Wedding Photographers

Andrew and Derek of MADE IN DSM reached out to Tanner and I a few weeks ago asking if we would like to be featured. HECK YES we would!!!!

They started MADE IN DSM to remind people why Des Moines matters by collaborating with other great local designers, companies, and start-ups. The end goal is to show what’s great about Des Moines, Iowa. How cool is that!

J + A Des Moines Proposal | RoCA | Des Moines, Iowa Proposal Photographer

I had the pleasure of photographing the most adorable proposal at RoCA in downtown Des Moines this last Saturday. Oh my gosh these two are so adorable together!

Joshua arranged for all their closest friends to arrive for a dinner and night out, and proposed the second they walked in the door to applause, screams and cheers from all their wonderful friends. All the feels on this one guys!

We went outside quick and snapped a few photos after and then a few ring shots and group photos of their wonderful friends.

Meg & Eric Downtown Des Moines Engagement Session | Des Moines, Iowa Wedding Photographer

I had a great (but cold holy cow!) January engagement session with Eric & Meg.

You’d never know it was 30 degrees, and I swear they didn’t stop smiling the entire session. You can tell Meg is originally from Wisconsin, she just braved the cold no questions asked!

You two are so adorable together! I’ve known Eric since our days at BVU together, it’s so fun to catch up with old college classmates and see where life has taken them since college.

I truly wish we weren’t already booked with a wonderful wedding on your big day this September, but I’m sure it will be beyond gorgeous! We wish you two nothing but the best and thanks for letting me capture your engagement session.
