Tanner and I had a great time capturing the Robinson wedding a few weeks ago in Pella, Iowa. ztsphoto_7553

We started off getting ready with the girls at the church, ironically Tanner and I shot one of our first ever weddings at the same church in oh gosh 2009? 2010? It’s so fun to return back 6ish years later! ztsphoto_7586 The Second Reformed Church is just gorgeous, such a unique church in Pella!

You could truly tell how much Emily and her family love one another the entire day, loved this special moment with her and her father as he walked her down the aisle.

Post ceremony we headed out to this awesome little spot Emily found in Pella. They had gorgeous pine trees, a super cool bridge and the light was just perfect.

What a beyond beautiful day!This bridge was so amazing, what a great view! Thanks so much for having us and enjoy, what a great day!

J+M Engaged | Fall Des Moines Engagement Session | Des Moines Wedding Photographers

What a fun fall engagement session recently. This is one of our awesome May 2017 couples, and we can’t wait for their big day at the Downtown Des Moines Marriott. I had a blast exploring the Papa John Sculpture Park, the Women of Achievement bridge with that epic sunset glow of mist off the river and lastly up for a good view of Des Moines from one of my favorite hills in the city.

Thanks so much for the great adventure, and that fall sunset glow is just everything! Also had a great time putting some people into my landscape ideas, how cool is that!

I wish Fall in Des Moines never ended, it’s just so perfect for engagement photos. See you two soon, May will be here before we know it!
