Aria and Tyler are one of our 2014 wedding couples, they are getting married this November in Clear Lake (at the Surf Ballroom, how fun is that!). They traveled down to Des Moines for their engagement photos and I seriously can’t wait for their big day. These two are just so much fun!

Tanner and I headed to Kansas City for an awesome Spring engagement shoot a few weeks ago. J + C were awesome hosts (Dexter our bulldog even came along for the weekend!) showing us a great time on the town. We even managed to squeeze in some great engagement photos! 😉
We started off at the Nelson Atkins Museum (which someday we will have to return to, so cool!) that had some delightful tree lines. From there we headed to nearby Loose Park and wrapped up at the National World War 1 Museum, Liberty Memorial for some gorgeous views of the city.
Thanks for hosing us for a weekend and I love love love Kansas City, such a fun place! We will definitely have to come back to visit soon!
It is finally Spring in Iowa! Last weekend we photographed one of our awesome August couples for a springtime engagement shoot here in Des Moines. Complete with a picnic and some beautiful flowering trees!
