Cheers to the newest member of the ZTS Photo gear lineup! A 100mm f/2.8L IS macro! We have an engagement session this weekend and can’t wait to try this little booger out. The IS will be awesome for low lit wedding ceremonies in Iowa churches and sports shooting in low lit gyms too.
Hopefully it will give our 135L F/2 a run for the money on portraits too! However that lens is hard to beat for shooting weddings.

Wedding ring and engagement ring shots are probably one of our favorite details to snap photos of. Just sparkly diamonds…c’mon! What is better than that?
Lately we’ve been pushing ourselves to be a bit more creative and have fun with them and I must admit Tanner is way cooler than me at shooting the bling!

Just a few shots from our engagement session last night in Storm Lake with Matt & Jessi. They are one of our fantastic 2011 wedding couples for June 18th 20 2011 and we couldn’t be more excited to be a part of their big day! Especially as they are fellow BVU Beavers.
One wedding, two commercial shoots and an e-session left to edit and we are all caught up! 🙂 Thanks to all our great clients for being patient as we finish up all our sessions as we’ve been crazy busy these past two months!
Also we dove in this weekend and purchased a Canon 50mm f/1.2L SO if ayone is in need of a Canon 50mm f/1.4 we have a great copy for sale! Asking $330 for it. We were approved this week as well from CPS (Canon Professional Services) for a Canon EF 300mm /2.8L I.S. USM lens and a Canon EOS-1D Mark IV for arrival for the last BVU home football game on October 30th. We are pretty excited about trying those out!
