Kami Sneek Peek | 2011 Garner Senior

If your viewing this on Facebook head on over to our blog at: https://www.ztsblog.com

Tanner and I have been SO incredibly busy lately! Ok that SO is a bit of an understatement! We have a plethora of blogs coming here soon with what we have been up to in the next few days.

Two weddings took place last weekend over Memorial Day for us at ZTS.  Saturday’s wedding took place in in Pella, IA for the Trempers. We probably got some of THE BEST natural night pictures at dusk at the outdoor reception ever. Their wedding was full of so much color, laughter and love. Go TEAM TREMPER! You two rock! (Duh you know that!)

The second wedding was here in Des Moines, IA for the Thieles. They actually got married in Hawaii a few months ago but decided to have another ceremony here so all their family could be in attendance! It was a gorgeous Sunday for the beautiful outdoor ceremony at a local park and another beautifly decorated wedding reception at Jasper Winery.

This weekend we had the pleasure of shooting the 2nd annual Halfway to Heaven Scholarship Bikeride in Garner, IA. Even though it rained for a bit they managed to raise $4,500 in music scholarship money to send local residents to college! Awesome job!

Sunday we had a senior and family shoot in Garner and I really think we finally out shout ourselves! There are just SO many wonderful images of Kami! We ended up with around 550 shots between the two of us. Just a teaser of a shot below for you to check out.

Seniors are just so much fun and we have about 5 more lined up at the moment for images!  If you want info on our senior sessions feel free to hit us up at ztsphoto@gmail.com or shoot us a call at 515-480-9382! We love that they are just so fun, relaxed, clever and willing to roll with our crazy creative ideas!

Kami you rocked it yesterday for sure!

In other news…we got a new lighting setup rig last weekend! Until we can grab up some Alien Bee’s we will be rockin’ the 580 exII’s with an umbrella setup! Will have to get on posting pics of that as well as it makes SUCH a wonderful lighting addition to our soft box!

Shelby 2011 Waukee High School Senior | Des Moines Senior Photographer

If your viewing this on Facebook shoot on over to our blog at https://www.ztsblog.com to view the images better!

Saturday afternoon we meet up to shoot with Shelby who is a senior to-be (in a few weeks!) gymnast and cheerleader at Waukee High School just outside of Des Moines. She has such a wonderful smile and positive personality! We had some great light and found some fun locations to shoot at! Senior pictures we love…there is just so much fun and creativity involved and making each senior session unique is something we strive to achieve.

We started out shooting a few pictures in East Village and then went around to some local spots in the downtown Des Moines area and ended up with some great lighting just before sunset at the new Pappa John Sculpture Park!

The TanMan hard at work

I always pass over this bridge and thought it would be awesome go shoot underneath it with the amazing columns!

As a cheerleader and gymnast Shelby seriously had some amazing ups! Check this out!

Another shot of Tanner in action.

As mentioned earlier Shelby is a gymast. Sweet back-walk over pics!

Thanks for letting us shoot you Shelby! Have a great senior year! (Next fall that is!) 🙂

Amber 2010 Garner Senior | Iowa Senior Portrait Photographers

If your viewing this on Facebook shoot on over to our blog at https://www.ztsblog.com

Way back in January we had the privilege of shooting Amber & Paige in Mason City, IA. It was so incredibly cold! I remember my fingers felt like they were falling off after being outside for only a short period of time! We got some great pictures of the both of them despite the cold.

See the post below for more pictures of Paige & some randoms from the day!

Starting the shoot we went to a factory/old train station in Mason City just outside of downtown. Tanner and I stumbled upon it last summer and thought the doors and textures would be an awesome location for a shoot!

Tanner broke out the 15mm fisheye for some fun pictures with the grungy door.

After the train station we headed on over to a parking lot and atop a good 50 foot staircase we found this great door!

Last stop was inside a building downtown in Mason City. We brought in the soft-box and light stand for some fun dramatic lighting shots.

In the entryway of the old building there was a great location we setup as the girls ran down and changed into their prom dresses for the last part of the shoot.

Can’t wait to shoot some seniors in the next few months! Feel free to hit us up at ztsphoto@gmail.com for pricing and more information! We would love to work with you!
