What a fun wedding at one of our favorite winery venues in Ames, Prairie Moon! Holly + Jordan were just a dream to work with.

They smiled and laughed all day surrounded by their family and friends. Jordan’s daughter was just so thrilled to be a part of their big day, and she twirled to her hearts content!

Jordan lost his brother a few months prior to the big day so they honored him in some amazing ways throughout the day that you’ll see in the images below.

Thanks for having us you two and we hope to be back at Prairie Moon in the future for another wedding day, it’s just truly a dream of a venue!

Sunset Ridge Barn is the absolute perfect location for a June wedding here in Iowa! Just minutes South of the Des Moines, Iowa metro they have the most gorgeous backdrop for ceremonies over looking the pond.

K+J had the best day filled with happy tears, love and laughter. K made the most beautiful bride and we truly enjoyed capturing their love and their beautiful day surrounded by family and friends.

If you’re looking for a barn wedding venue in the metro don’t count this one out. The owners are beyond and just had a new edition put on to account for weather conditions here in Iowa. Check it out and enjoy their big day below!

Saturday we headed down to one of our very favorite venues in the Des Moines area for a wedding, Red Acre Barn!

If you are looking for a barn run by owners who truly care about your big day, look no further! They truly pour their heart into their venue.

Such a perfect spot for a wedding!

Erica & Jordan are just full of life.

It’s refreshing to see a couple so in love!

If you remember I photographed their engagement session at the Iowa Cubs Baseball Stadium at Principal Park last summer, their love of baseball and each other truly shows through!

They had the most perfect day filled with laughter and love, tears and joy. Tanner and I had the best time documenting their big day along side some of our favorite wedding vendors in the Des Moines area.
