Sarah + Aaron | Vintage East Village Des Moines Wedding| Wooly’s Des Moines & Simon Estes Riverfront Amphitheater Wedding

I’ve been pretty stoked about this wedding for awhile now! East Village in downtown Des Moines is just my favorite. Tanner and I even lived here for a few years, so it holds a special place for us. It’s just the perfect spot for unique weddings!

It’s always great too working with wedding planners, especially planners that are also wonderful florist and expert decorators! Maya Bottecher with Plum Event + Design just rocks. See below for proof, look at all these gorgeous florals and vintage decorations below! Sarah & Maya the reception details just blew my mind, so perfect and beautiful!

Thanks so much for letting us photograph your day Sarah & Aaron, your little guy is adorable and your wedding day was just out of the park amazing. Especially all the great details! (Can you tell I was overly excited about all the awesome!) Especially the beautiful dove release post ceremony and cutting your cake with a sword, I mean how cool is that?!

Jami + Trevor | Lake Panorama Wedding | Des Moines, Iowa Wedding Photographers

We kicked off our busy 2015 wedding season a few weekends ago in Stuart/Lake Panorama Iowa. It may have been a dreary day weather wise but it was sure full of endless smiles and laughter!

Jami and Trevor were married in Stuart at Saints Center. Saints Center is one of the coolest places I’ve been in awhile in small town Iowa. It was rebuilt and has a great mix of new and old, what a fun spot for a wedding!

From there we headed to Lake Panorama for a quick bar stop and then reception at the Lake Panorama Conference Center. Thanks so much for letting us be a part of your day, and we can’t wait for all our great 2015 couples!

Always great to meet other local vendors and see new wonderful venue spaces. I had no idea the downtown Central Public Library could hold events and even is available for wedding receptions! It’s a fun unique space in the heart of downtown Des Moines to check out. Also may I add it is VERY affordable.
