Where to even begin with this one!

Tanner and I had the pleasure of shooting Megan and Tim’s wedding at Glen Oaks this August.

Oh my goodness what a perfect day it was!

I can’t say enough great things about Glen Oaks Country Club as a venue here in Des Moines. When brides are looking for venue options I always highly suggest finding a venue that lets you do everything in one place. From getting ready to the ceremony to the reception.

It really cuts down on travel time, and you and your guests ability to really relax and enjoy the day to celebrate your union together.

Glen Oaks is the perfect mix of that!

The staff there is also beyond, can’t say enough great things about them.

Megan planned her day so incredibly well, we only only did the wedding photos but wedding day highlight video as well. (Click to view below!)

The incredibly talented Shelly Sarver Designs did all the floral arrangements and Cynthia Betts with Vintage Love Retals and team supplied all the wonderful vintage decor.

What a perfect day to capture filled with lots of happy tears, love and laughter.

You two truly are each others best friends and what a joy to spend the day capturing your love!

We popped out at sunset for some perfect sunset light for photos around the golf course.

Including a fun little drone shot from above.

They had the dance so elaborately setup on the outdoor patio. They had a fun night celebrating the night away with family and friends!

Megan + Tim August 19th, 2017 | Glen Oaks Country Club Wedding | Des Moines, Iowa Wedding Videographers

Tanner and I had THE BEST wedding last weekend at Glen Oaks Country Club here in Des Moines for the adorable Megan & Tim. I can’t say enough great things about this amazing day! From the couple that is so in love they laughed and cried happy tears all day to the beyond amazing vendors we had the pleasure of working with.

All in all it was the dream day!

While we primarily shoot photography for weddings here in Des Moines since 2009 we also DO offer a highlight video of the day since 2011 as an add on for our photo clients. Tanner knocked this one out of the park! I think he went above and beyond his last few videos to create some serious magic.

Congrats you two and what a beautiful day to be a part of. Thanks for having us and enjoy the video!

What a gorgeous day it was at Glen Oaks Country Club for Megan + Tim to tie the knot here in Des Moines!

Kane Wedding July 29th, 2017 | Noah’s Event Venue West Des Moines Wedding | Des Moines, Iowa Wedding Photographer

We had the best time photographing Ashley & Aaron’s big day a few weeks ago.

We kicked off the day by the gals getting ready at the amazing Penelopie Beauty Bar in West Des Moines.

I can’t say great things about this location for bridal makeup in Des Moines, ladies check it out! (Or even for a fun date night or engagement photos! They are beyond amazing!)

From there we had their first look at their church and the beautiful ceremony to follow.

We LOVE when our couples listen to us on taking some extra time to visit a location for photos besides your ceremony or reception.

We headed out from there to this gorgeous nature preserve just a few min trip from the Des Moines area for portraits.

For July it was just the perfect day weather wise. What gorgeous light!

We even lucked out with some fun rainbow lens flares!

The reception followed in West Des Moines at Noah’s Event Venue. What a beautiful space for a reception!

Des Moines has acquired so many new wonderful venues since Tanner and I started photographing weddings in 2009. Love shooting new places! I hope we return to Noah’s soon!

We headed outside at sunset for some portraits after the first dances and that light was just perfection!

Thanks for having us you two! We had the best time photographing your big day and it’s so great to have the bridal party and couple feel like family and friends.
