What a wonderful late November day for a wedding! You just can’t get much better than nearly 60 and sun in Iowa for November 26!
We’d never shot a wedding at the Des Moines Social Club, what a great venue for a wedding in downtown Des Moines.
Olivia and Jessica gave us SO MUCH amazing time to jaunt all around Des Moines for portraits.
We started out with their adorable dog Boston after their first look and then headed to the Rose Garden.
From there we hit up the new mural at Exile Brewing by Ben Schuh with the beautiful Cheers From Des Moines mural.
Next up we went to the newly remodeled green bridge, I must say they did a wonderful job restoring this old bridge. Such a great spot for photos (and biking!).
Finally we headed to one of my favorite views of the city just before sunset for some city views.
Their ceremony was at the Kum and Go Theater at the Des Moines Social Club and reception to follow in the basement.
The ladies looked absolutely stunning and we had such a great time capturing all their love, tears and laughter though-out the day.
They even let us take them out on the rooftop for some night portraits and a quick snap under the amazing bridge just outside the Social Club.
Thanks for having us and congratulations! What a way to end our 2016 wedding season with a bang!
