Rachel and Sam had such a fun June wedding day surrounded by their closest family and friends.

You can truly tell so much about a couple by spending their wedding way with them and they have some awesome people in their lives!

They were actually married by Sam’s father (the first ever father we’ve had officiate one of our weddings I do believe) how cool is that!

The ceremony took place at the Well Covenant Church here in Des Moines with one of their friends playing guitar for all the guests pre-ceremony.

Loved that special touch!

The wedding reception to follow was downtown here in Des Moines just a few miles away at the Iowa State Historical Building in East Village.

If you haven’t been to the Iowa Historical Building they have so many fun exhibits and airplanes hanging in the reception room.

What a fun unique spot for a wedding reception!
