Jenni and Eric’s day started out rather bla and rainy but don’t let that fool you! Jenni was full of laughter and joy all morning at the salon despite the rain drops that were falling outside!

The girls started getting ready at Blondie’s Beauty Parlor and then headed off to the Des Moines Renaissance Savery Hotel for finishing touches. While I was with the gals Tanner was with Eric for the morning for some getting ready photos at the Savery.

From there we headed out to the GORGEOUS Basilica of St. John here in Des Moines. I must say that church is a delight to shoot in! I have been to several weddings there as a guests but never as a photographer, holy cow is it pretty!

Post ceremony we headed to the Hessen Haus for a few das boots and shots and then to the Iowa Capital building for bridal party formals.

The night ended up with dinner and facing back at the Renaissance Savery Hotel.
