Last Saturday we headed down to the beautiful Honey Creek Resort on Lake Rathbun, Iowa for Piper and Jared’s big day.

As always Honey Creek is on point with amazing service and friendly smiles.

We love working there and highly suggest it to all brides looking for a beautiful location that allows guests to have a blast while staying there too!

Piper and Jared didn’t see each other before the ceremony which gave me all the feels when Jared wiped away a tear as his bride walked down the aisle. How adorable is that!

I’ve known Jared for years as his sister was my matron of honor in our wedding and we had the pleasure of photographing another one of his sisters big days a few years ago.

He’s grown so much since then and it’s apparent he and Piper are truly so happy together!

The pavilion is the perfect spot for a fall ceremony.

Post ceremony we wandered around Honey Creek and all the beautiful fall spots on the resort. We headed out to the dock, down to dance on the rocks by the beach, and in the tall grass. What a beautiful time to get married and the perfect October wedding location!

We took them out for a quick sunset photo during the reception and a night photo before departing.

And then snuck out with the guys for a quick cigar photo too. How cool!

What a fun day, thanks for having Tanner and I. And always a pleasure to work with your family!
