I had a blast photographing the 2014 Drake Relays for an afternoon. Such a great annual event in the Des Moines area. If you haven’t been, be sure to check it out in 2015! I must say the long jump is probably my new favorite thing to photograph, loved all the flying sand!

Summer in Iowa is simply gorgeous! Just wanted to share a long exposure we took from last weekend from toasting marshmallows under the stars in Tanner’s backyard. Taken with a 5D MK II with a 15mm f/2.8 fish-eye lens. Exposed for 30 seconds at f/2.8, ISO 640.
