The light was just PERFECT the other night on my way back from a run so I bolted upstairs to my condo and grabbed the 5D MK II and our new 100mm f/2.8 macro lens that I have been dying to try out a bit more! Just west of my place I  found some natural Iowa ‘flowers’  and snapped a few images.

I think that I need to use this lens a bit more often as it really makes me look at the world differently! Also need to plan some more sunset summer shoots as the light is just so incredibly gorgeous!

On a bit of a side note we have a jam packed Memorial Day weekend coming up with a double weddings! Tanner and I are excited to take part in sharing in the joyful days with two different brides!
