It’s official…I am moving!

AND ZTS has a new studio space!

333 E Grand in Des Moines, IA. Located in the heart of East Village in East Village Square. Since last winter we have been wanting to get a studio space here in Des Moines and just happened to fall upon this gorgeous 2 story loft in East Village literally IN my work parking lot. My lease is up in October at my condo and one of the eight 2 story lofts at this building that ‘never come up as free’ is up for lease starting October 1!

Call it irony or fate but put down a deposit last week and we are more than excited about it. Not sure if we want to put the studio in upstairs or downstairs, but cannot wait to have space to move around in our OWN studio space!

In other news Tanner and I decided its finally time for some more light power than our two 580 ex II’s. Alien Bee’s here we come! Think were going to grab up a 1600 Alien Bee light, another light stand and a beauty dish. This will work great for outdoor seniors and engagements in mid-day light to overpower the sun as well as will be a great fill light for wedding receptions.

Only issue now is what color to get! I voted neon pink…his pull is for neon green. Tanner’s colorblind so maybe I can persuade him into hot pink. C’mon how cool is a giant hot pink light!

Tomorrow were heading off to Storm Lake to shoot a wedding and sounds like it is going to be one HOT Saturday again in the upper 80’s. Can’t wait for your big day tomorrow Jenn and Chad!
